MYR Group posts record Q2 2026 revenue of $1.08B and backlog of $3.16B, then closes $328M Valley/Comet Electric acquisition on July 1.

MYR Group delivered record second quarter 2026 results across every key financial metric — revenue, net income, EBITDA, and C&I segment revenue — while growing total backlog 20% year-over-year to $3.16 billion. The $328 million acquisition of Valley Holdings (Valley Electric and Comet Electric), closed July 1, extends C&I geographic reach and prefabrication capabilities, with management guiding approximately $250 million of incremental revenue contribution in the second half of 2026. Margin expansion was material in both segments, driven by better-than-anticipated productivity, favorable job closeouts, and scope increases, with management reaffirming full-year operating margin guidance at the midpoint of stated ranges.
