Waters appoints DuPont veteran Tina Wu as SVP of Analytical Sciences Division

Waters Corporation announced on August 17, 2026 that Robert L. Carpio III resigned as Senior Vice President of the Analytical Sciences Division effective August 20, 2026. Tina Wu, who joined Waters in June 2026 as SVP of Materials Sciences Division and President of China, has been promoted to lead the Analytical Sciences Division. Wu brings over 20 years of experience from DuPont, where she managed business units ranging from $1 billion to $2.3 billion in annual revenue, most recently serving as Global Vice President and President of DuPont Mobility & Materials since 2021.

Following its 2025 acquisition of the BD Biosciences and Diagnostic Solutions business (BDS Business), Waters operates as a significantly larger combined life science tools and diagnostics platform.
